Calne hosted Warminster at the Brook in what was always going to be a tough game. Warminster batted first and couldn't quite deal with the guile, pace and length of Jim and Eadesy. After 20 over overs and only 50 odd on the board it was a promising start. Next up Sean, Devanve and Jerron did an excellent job in restricting Warminster to 175 all out. Special mention to Jake behind the stumps who was kept busy all afternoon and picked up 3 dismissals.
Calne stepped out to bat with high hopes, however the Warminster bowling proved a little to fast and accurate and on a helpful pitch Calne were unable to sustain any challenge. All out for 41, it wasn't a performance to remember but I doubt Calne will be the only team to suffer at the hands of a very good bowling attack.
