Match report After winning the toss tom richards had no hesitation in asking westbury to bat ,after a good opening spell of bowling from j.clare & j.butler it was joe clare that made the break through removing l.ayrton for 4 with the score on 14.
wickets fell at regular intervals & the pick off the calne bowlers was ben wickens with figures of 9 overs 5 wkts for 54 runs.
highlight of the westbury innings was 107 from joe weare after being dropped 3 times early on in his innings.
Calne started there innings with a cautious but steady start with skipper richards reaching his maiden century (104 not out off 145 balls & carrying his bat) & was well supported by chris lower (19) & ben wickens (14)but tight bowling from westbury restricted calne to 181 off there 45 overs .
A great game off cricket & was played in a great spirit & credit to both sides
