Match report After consulting the team about what they wanted to do if I won the toss...I then went and lost the 6th out of 7 this season and was told we were having a field - not what the team had in mind!

Another good opening spell by U15 duo Elliot Bodman and Cameron Axford, continued to prove unlucky. Despite bowling well the ball had a knack of looping into gaps or just out of the reach of fielders. The opening pair go to 42-0 off the opening 10 overs. First change bowling saw the spin of Andy Windsor introduced and an immediate breakthrough came, trapping Lovebrough LBW. Turn and bounce of Windsor and tight bowling from Matthews applied plenty of pressure on the North Bradley batsmen. The 24 overs bowled by the pair saw 9 wickets fall for just 63 runs. The bowling was backed up by a good fielding display...the keeper had one stick, catches and Todd created a makeshift thong - said to be to hold his box in place but could well have been for Henry and Darren's pleasure! The N.Bradley innings came to an end with a run out by Darren Axford. The bowling figures being dominated by two people Andy Windsor (12-2-32-6) and Matthews (12-6-31-3).

After a superb tea, we went out to bat. A steady start to the innings from Paul Bolton (21) and Josh Bates (20) put on 33 for the first wicket, the second wicket falling three balls later...we won't say anymore about it Todd. This introduced Henry Lee who dispatched the bad ball with some power, getting a quick fire 32 before being stumped. If taking 6 wickets was not enough Andy Windsor aka The Crab chipped in with an unbeaten 34, the technique baffling the wicketkeeper. The innings was finished off with a 6 from Darren Axford, and yes Cameron this is the first 6 that has been hit with your bat!

A six wicket win and 21 points which is great, but also a good bit of banter flying about to!
