Match report Calne won the toss and elected to field.Captain Aaron Batson removing Malmesbury opener Nickson in the first over.Aaron finishing with figures of 1/2.John Lenton- Jinks supported excellently from the other end with figures of 2/15.Enter Mollie Coleman and Lois Wright, both supporting the opening bowlers with good accurate spells. Mollie returning figures of 3-0-1-12, and Lois with superb figures of 3.1-0-3-14.Malmesbury were bowled out for 62.John and Aaron got the innings off to a steady start, before Aaron fell to a great delivery, nipping back and clipping his off stump. John continued playing some good shots, hitting a massive 6 over Mid Wicket, John went for a superb 24,Rachel westcott, came to the crease, playing some good shots, she was joined by Mollie, Mollie played a sensible innings to see us home, scoring 3 fours, on her way to 13 not out.A good start to the season with débutante Jordan Wright and Gus Harvey doing great work in the field.Special mention goes to Aaron, captaining the team for the first time, doing a great job with his field placings, and rallying the team.
